I originally designed the Jesus is King hoodie for a small release of merch for an event at my church, but after sharing the progress of the design and the final product on my Instagram page, it became clear that this hoodie was too powerful to keep to ourselves. there was so much interest that I went on to ordering a restock and setting up an online store to sell it. and when that sold out, Zion was born.
This hoodie is so special to me personally because it gave birth to my business. It is the first design and the feedback I’ve already received is so powerful and transformative. With a vibrant, hand drawn graphic, I designed this hoodie with the intent of declaring and spreading this simple truth to every eye who reads it. For it says in Matthew 24:14,
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
and in Phillipians 2:10-11, '
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.'
I believe this is something not just to declare in our churches and christian communities, but out in the streets of this world. Declare it at work, at uni, out with your friends, while you do your grocery shopping - and what better way than to wear it.
